What is the difference between an Associate and Fellow of Mammal Research Institute?
An MRI Associate (UP researcher) or Fellow (non-UP researcher) is a scientist who works closely with the MRI and has chosen to be affiliated to the institute (honorary appointment). Their address on relevant publications and presentations reflect this affiliation. Appointments of both Associates and Fellows need to be approved by the Director and will be reviewed every three years.
